The 200 kyat banknote from Myanmar, issued in 1995, features significant iconography and scenes from the country.

The front of the banknote depicts a Shinzé, a mythological creature resembling a lion, emblematic of Burmese iconography. The inscription in Burmese reads "Central Bank of Myanmar" and the face value of the banknote, "Two Hundred Kyats". The face value "200" is also inscribed in Arabic numerals.

The back of the banknote illustrates a forestry scene involving elephants. This representation highlights the historical importance of logging and the traditional role of elephants in this industry in Myanmar. Inscriptions include "Central Bank of Myanmar" in English, as well as the face value "200" in Arabic numerals and Burmese. The inscription "Two Hundred Kyats" is also present in English.

The Chinze, or Chinthe, is a stylized leogryph figure, often represented by a pair of guardians at the entrance to Buddhist pagodas and monasteries (kyaung) in Myanmar. It has become a recognizable symbol of the country.

The writings on the banknote are in Burmese and Latin. The 1995 200 kyat banknote, from the CN series, offers a glimpse into Myanmar's cultural symbols and traditional economic activities.
