This Colombian banknote was issued in 2022. It has a face value of 10,000 pesos and belongs to the AK series.

The obverse of the banknote features Virginia Gutiérrez, a Colombian anthropologist. The inscription "diez mil pesos colombianos, banco de la república de Colombia, Virginia Gutiérrez, antropóloga" can be read. The script used is Latin. There is also a representation of the Rana arboricola.

The reverse of the banknote illustrates the Amazonas, a river, a serpiente (snake), the Victoria Regia and a man in a canoe. The inscription "Diez mil pesos, Banco de la República de Colombia, Victoria Regia" is also featured. A quote from Virginia Gutiérrez is inscribed: "Madres solteras de todos los sitios colombianos… Mujeres que viven el periódico abandono de su hombre o que lloran su muerte... Madres que conciben, gestan y paren en tugurios... Madres todas que ganan el pan, que lo multiplican en la boca de sus hijos hambreados... para vosotras, mi trabajo y mi fe sin límites”.

The watermark of the banknote features a portrait of Virginia Gutierrez as well as an electrotype representing the number "10".
