The 10,000 Cruzeiros banknote, issued in 1993 by Brazil, is a specimen from the Cruzeiros series, specifically the 3rd edition. This banknote pays tribute to Vital Brazil, a prominent figure whose portrait adorns the front.

On the front, the portrait of Vital Brazil is highlighted, accompanied by the inscriptions "BANCO CENTRAL DO BRASIL" and "10 000" indicating the face value. There is also the mention "CASA DA MOEDA DO BRASIL", identifying the institution responsible for printing the banknote. The signatures of the Minister of Fazenda and the President of the Banco Central do Brasil are also present. The face value, "DEZ MIL CRUZEIROS", is repeated in full.

The back of the banknote features a particular illustration: a reptile swallowing another, a symbolic image. The face value "10 000" is repeated in numbers and letters, ensuring clear identification of the banknote's value.

The banknote's watermark reproduces the portrait of Vital Brazil, adding an additional security measure. The banknote was printed by the Casa da Moeda do Brasil, the national printing house of Brazil.

The dimensions of the banknote are 140 mm in length and 65 mm in width. Zélio Bruno da Trindade is credited as the designer of the front, while Mário Dittz Chaves designed the back.
