TOP certified population for this type in PCGS, very RARE in MS Taler of Nuremberg, imperial portrait type. This particular coin is a perfectly centered, retaining original mint brilliance, with minimal handling marks and golden highlights in the legend - great collectible gem! Struck under Mintmaster Johann Martin Foster, with dies engraved by Johann Leonhard Oexlein this coin is an another handsome and impressively preserved example of 18th-century Imperial Taler of Nuremberg. Minor scattered contact marks and surface disturbances are consistent with the assigned MS 61 grade - still TOP POP specimen with considerable visual appeal and an imposing, historically evocative appearance!
