Another RARE "historic" double thaler of Ludwig I of Bavaria (1825-1848) - one of the last one! This is for the completion of the Ludwig Canal. Patchy toned fully reflective fields, sparkling uncirculated design. Some excessive contact marks and hairlines probably determine the grade - MS 62 by NGC. Still one of the RAREST type and very desirable coin for any collector! Great investment item as well!
