Commemorative medal marking the visit of Queen Wilhelmina and Queen Regent Emma to the province of Limburg, 20–24 May 1895. Manufactured by C.I. Begeer in Utrecht and issued through E. Alard in Maastricht.
Obverse:
Youthful bust of Queen Wilhelmina facing right, with flowing hair, wearing an embroidered dress and a pearl necklace. Signed E. ALARD on the shoulder.
Legend: WILHELMINA KONINGIN DER NEDERLANDEN.
Reverse:
The arms of Limburg surmounted by a ducal crown, between two laurel branches. Below the shield: ALARD — MAASTR.
Legend: DE KONINGINNEN BEZOEKEN LIMBURG.
Below: 20–24 MEI 1895.
