united-states 1861 Nice Confederate State of America (CSA) $5 Note (T-34, Criswell #268) circulated

This is an authentic 1861 T-34 Confederate $5 note (Criswell-268), an early and historically significant issue from the Confederate States of America. The design features a vignette of a standing female figure symbolizing liberty, along with intricate engravings typical of early Confederate currency. The note is printed on watermarked (cursive CSA) high-quality paper with a well-detailed layout that reflects the financial efforts of the South in the first year of the Civil War.

No major issues, but improperly cut (these were cut by hand with scissors, something went wrong with this one).

This note remains colorful and attractive, with strong details and excellent historical appeal. As an early war issue, the T-34 is highly collectible and sought after by those interested in Civil War-era finance.
