Tribute from the Youth of Brussels / Journey of the Prince through the Congo

Obverse: A map of Africa with an engraved route starting in Europe and ending in the Congo. The dates "2 AVRIL" (April 2) and "16 AOÛT" (August 16) are inscribed in the corners, likely marking the duration of the journey. The word "CONGO" is prominently featured in the middle of the continent, with additional geographical markings along the coast and ocean.

Reverse: A nude young man in a dynamic pose, with outstretched arms, symbolizing progress and exploration. Subtle landscape elements are in the background, possibly referring to the Congo. At the bottom, a partially worn inscription refers to a tribute from the youth of Brussels to the prince.

Voorzijde: Een kaart van Afrika met een gegraveerde route die begint in Europa en eindigt in Congo. De datums "2 AVRIL" (2 april) en "16 AOÛT" (16 augustus) zijn in de hoeken gegraveerd, wat waarschijnlijk de duur van de reis aanduidt.
