Commentary : Flan voilé mais très belle monnaie. Beau droit
FR : L’interdiction de la représentation de l’homme et des animaux valorise grandement l’écriture, d’autant plus que le Coran dit explicitement que l’art d’écrire est d’essence divine (sourate 96, verset 4). Les inscriptions ont donc à la fois une fonction de prosélytisme religieux et un rôle esthétique
EN : The ban on the representation of humans and animals greatly enhances writing, especially since the Quran explicitly states that the art of writing is of divine essence (sura 96, verse 4). Inscriptions therefore have both a religious proselytizing function and an aesthetic role.
