Mercury and an allegory spinning, representing trade and industry, seated on a cartouche surrounding the central hole, below the value., Text around the central beaded hole., A very interesting maillechort pattern (copper 67% - zinc 18% - nickel 15%) produced on the initiative of Théodore Michelin, who wanted to promote this alloy, minted at the Monnaie de Paris. Slightly cleaned copy, furthermore the flan was probably scratched before striking, we also note a die break at 1h and another at 8h.
