Laureate head of Domitian right., Helmeted and draped bust of Minerva left, wearing aegis and holding sceptre., Very rare aureus, with beautiful portraits! Unfortunately, it appears to have been worn as jewellery in the past, with two marks on the edge, at 8 and 9h on the observe, and on the reverse, at 8h, having pushed the metal back at the level of the beginning of the legend . Although it has been cleaned, there are numerous scratches on both sides, probably due to the fact that it has been worn as jewellery. We should also note a mark on the M at the end of the observe caption. Ex.
