Plain., Crowned German imperial eagle bearing the arms of the German Empire on its breast. (Coat of arms of the German Empire), A one-sided (uniface) tin trial of the reverse of the 5 Mark under Ludwig II of Bavaria, of the highest rarity, probably issued in Munich. The silver trial, also one-sided (uniface), was already known (Heidelberger Münzhandlung, Auction 61, 05/2013, lot 5309) but the tin one appears to be completely unkown and new on the market. Very different from the silver example in terms of weight and size, this is most probably a unique example., DEUTSCHES REICH 1878 / * FÜNF MARK *
