Head of Licinius I, laureate, right., Tête ou buste de Licinius., Defective follis of Licinius with a striking error on the reverse die. The type is normally a wreath with a legend "D N LICINI..." around it, and "VOT..." in the centre, here we have only a small part of the reverse type. Here, however, another flan was stuck under the reverse die and stopped the reverse type from being correctly impressed. We can still clearly see the shape of the flan that came to be positioned on the coin.
